Piano Virtuosi Festival celebrates accomplished pianists whose primary professions lie beyond music, yet who pursue the piano with exceptional dedication and artistry. The festival brings these musicians together to perform demanding repertoire, connect, and share their passion with one another and the public.

 

Many of our performers are leaders in fields like medicine, technology, education, and law, and still find the hours to practice and perform at a high level. By offering a dedicated stage and supportive community, the festival affirms that their musical work is not a hobby but a vital part of their identity.

 

The festival was founded in 2026 by Gorden Cheng, a pianist himself who performs solo recitals and concertos with orchestra, and is also a laureate of many piano competitions. After a 21-year career in IT and information security, Gorden now manages digital assets for himself and clients through his own firm, KMGB Capital. Having lived the dual-career balancing act firsthand, he built Piano Virtuosi Festival to give this community the stage, and the recognition, it deserves.
